Food Shows And The Faith

In the last few weeks I have been discussing the subject of expanding the Faith through shows dealing with food and cooking. Of course food becomes our Gifts To Him. Our first thought was to create new shows that were spin offs from exisitng shows. For example for Iron Chef we would create Iron Sh*t. For Man Versus Food of course one would have Man Versus Poop. The Church Synod approved these ventures and Church legal consul and media consultants approached the relevant networks with our ideas for mutual benefit.

To our shock and dismay we were immediately turned away by the secular forces at work on Food TV and the Travel Channel. We received harsh refusals and outright rebuttals to our offers which we felt were just and righteous. The companies above cited copyright violations and vilolations of community standards of "good taste" as their criteria for refusal.

The Church representatives returned to the Holy City depressed and downttrodden, only because they wanted to serve Him and benefit others with his Grace and Truth. The forces of Unbelief were victorious that day. But fear not, even now the Synod is formulating an alternate approach. Perhaps the Church with create social networking sites like MyWaste. WasteBook, Sh*tter, or other possible URL names. Church internet specialists are even now examining the requirements of this alternative. We will keep you posted. Pray and give mightily for success and victory.
